At Advantage Smollan, we're offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Procurement Executive ready to take the leap into a high-impact, ownership role as a Procurement Manager. Permanent, full-time

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum + performance-related bonus
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Winnersh, RG41 (Hybrid) - some travel across Europe may be required

What You’ll Do:

• Shape Procurement Strategy: Lead the development of procurement strategies that align with business goals, covering everything from supplier management to contract negotiation.
• Forge Key Partnerships: Build strong, long-term relationships with suppliers, securing the best terms for pricing, quality, and service.
• Be the Lead Negotiator: Drive negotiations with suppliers to lock in favourable terms for purchases, leases, and services.
• Champion Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or reliability.
• Optimise Operations: Continuously analyse performance metrics and propose opportunities for operational improvements across fleet, travel, and services.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to GDPR, ISO standards, and ethical sourcing guidelines in all procurement processes.
• Collaborate Across Borders: Work closely with European operating companies and internal teams, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
• Budget Control: Manage budgets for service acquisitions, leases, and maintenance, driving cost-effective solutions.

• Procurement Expertise: Demonstrable success in procurement, with a proven ability to lead complex projects.
• Negotiation Mastery: Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to build and leverage strong supplier relationships.
• Project Management Pro: Skilled at delivering multiple projects across a variety of business areas with outstanding results.
• Strong Communicator: Able to work seamlessly across teams and geographies, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Driven and Self-Motivated: You’re a go-getter, ready to lead initiatives and deliver them to a high standard.
